its almost over...

i spent the start of the day waiting for my final viva to get over..nd after it was done i spent the rest of the time filling the yearbook..it stil hasnt hit me tht my btech life is almost over..its coming to an end..m i happy coz i hav a great company to luk forward to work at?? m i sad tht i m no longer a youngster nd hav to grow up nd start taking responsibilities? m i sad tht i wnt b with my frnds as much as i am nw? m i curious in finding out hw work life is gonna b? m i scared coz i wil hav so many responsibilities? these r all questions i havnt evn thot bout..one gud thing is most of my frnds r placed here in hyd..so atleast i wil get to meet them..
i knw its gonna hit me pretty soon nd whn it does m gonna b really sad..we'll c..
the best part (nd the most tiring) of this week was the batch trip..i really appreciate pranav for putting in so much effort..hats off to u d00d..nd i shd apologize to him for nt supporting him more..i was one of the ppl who encouraged him a lot to go ahead with the planning promising tht i wud help him gather masses for the trip..
the game we playd at the end of the trip was really gud..gt to share sm of the jokes which i wud nvr hav heard otherwise..overall the trip was really gud though tiring..
with so few days left most of my batchmates r planning to relive the gud ol' times of quaking..every1 is doin stuf like writing cds..dvds..hdds..watevr..they hav all realized its coming to end..i hp i nvr do..

Its the time to disco!!

since the series of posts on my google interview is getting monotonous m gonna post on smthin else..bt connected to google though..
the last two days hav been so much fun..it was just the break i needed!! i lived like a king..without spending a single rupee!!
google hyd. organized a party for all the Nooglers (new+googler)..so it was twently two of us and a truck load of fun..
on 23rd we were calld to a place called knock 10 at MPM mall (big bazaar)..its basically a place wher u do stuff like bowling, snooker, video games, etc..it was gud fun..met the other 19 ppl who were joining (total no. = 22, 3 frm IIITH)..thn it was off to dinner at koyla..was gud..
yest was more formal..lots of video conferences with all the greats of google telling us about their google experience nd wat kinda work we wud be doing..it was very informative session..helpd me make up my mind to join google..nd then it was off to taj krishna for dinner..nd to my surprise it was pretty gud..
then the real fun started..9 of us were staying in one of the guest houses..(sidhart)^2,rajat,seshu,abishek,harshita,prajakta,vardhman nd me..we gt bk arnd 11..nd then 1 left and 3 slept..so it was basically prajakta,harshita,sidhart,vardhman nd me..we chatted a lot nd playd dumb c..discussed bout our colleges etc..was very gud nd we gt along really well..i gt the feeling tht i am one of the worst with linux in the grp..though sidharth was much worse than me (he hd never workd on a linux box b4!!)..other thn tht the nite was fun..
basically all the ppl at google were cool..we kept addressing evn the managers by their names (no mr. or sir or nething)..nd they had no prob with tht..
nd thn sm interns who had workd with google for a couple of months told us wat was awaiting us whn we join..i was dumbstruck with wat i heard..m nt supposd to disclose it so m nt goin to..bt it was just out of this world!!
these two days helpd me decide the best place for me was google..no doubt bout tht..

round and round i went

today i went to chilkur balaji temple..to fulfill my side of the deal with God..he gav me a job at google..and in return i did 108 rounds..so round nd round i went..
it wasnt very tiring..though i thot it wud be..neways..here's a lil souvenier i brought back :)

chaos is back???

yeah..thts rite..i am back!!

as i sit here organizing the third intra IIIT prog. contest, m feeling really very bored and hav no idea wat to do..so i decided to pay a visit to cmdrbuzz and other blogs which i havnt visited for a loooooooong time..nd thn i felt like doin sm bloggin on my own..so here i am..
it tuk me forever to get my login name..i totally forgot bout it..nd i was trying every login name i ever had..nd finally one clickd :D
the turn up for this contest is not so gud..only 5 teams hav turned up..last time ther were 14..dunno y the sudden drop in interest. this is y i always feel once smthing gets goin and ther is a lot of enthu bout it thn it shd keep going..ther was a big break (arnd 3 weeks) between the last contest and this one..nd i feel this is a major reason for the drp of enthusiasm..i dunno y students cant drag their lazy bodies frm hostel to main building to spend 3 hrs (in a week!!) to attend the intra contests..nd i dunno hw many of them realize tht algorithms and coding are by far the most important topics tht wil b askd in any kind of interview..
besides this my life is going good..for those who havent heard i got placed in google..though its a testing job..i think i wil stick out for a couple of years..nd then go do an ms or smthing..it sux to live life without knowing wat u want to do..i really appreciate ppl like sagar,santosh,sharath,ranga,etc who hav a clear idea of wat they wanna do..wish i also knew wat i want to do..
